Super good food and really good portions. We paid around $50 for an appetizer, drinks, and two meals. The mango lassi was delicious and the naan was some of the best i’ve had. Definitely recommend!

As someone who has spent some time exploring the vast tapestry of Indian cuisine, I am not easily surprised. But The Nukkad Cafe didn’t just impress me, it absolutely floored me. This is the kind of restaurant that makes you rethink everything you thought you knew about Indian food, the kind of place that dares you to admit, “This might even be better than my mother’s cooking.” From the moment the first dish hit the table, I knew I was in for something extraordinary. The dahi puri arrived like little edible jewels, crisp shells filled with impossibly fresh vegetables and cooling yogurt, each bite exploding with a refreshing balance of sweet, tangy, and savory. Then came the pani puri, which wasn’t just a dish but an experience. The owner taught us the cheeky Indian phrase that means “shut up and eat,” perfectly capturing that moment when conversation simply disappears because the food demands your full attention. The butter chicken and butter naan were nothing short of a revelation. The chicken was tender and luxuriantly coated in a sauce so rich and complex that it felt crafted with equal parts love and culinary precision. Paired with warm, pillowy naan, each bite was a perfect marriage of spice, comfort, and unmistakable authenticity. The vegetable samosas were delightful surprises, golden, crisp pyramids that burst open like tiny pouches of velvety, seasoned soup the moment you bite into them. The mixed platter was a masterstroke for the indecisive (and the hungry): every protein seasoned with its own personality, yet united by expert spicing and balance. And the crispy rice at the bottom, a heavenly little treasure, was the kind of detail that separates good Indian food from truly great Indian food. To cool the spice and reset the palate, the mango lassi was simply unmatched. Bright, fragrant, and refreshing, it was unlike any version I’ve had before, and the scoop of ice cream on top was a stroke of genius, an indulgent touch that lifted the drink into dessert territory. Speaking of dessert, the gulab jamun was pillowy perfection, those warm, syrup-soaked spheres were so addictive I regretted not ordering ten more, had I not already been blissfully full. The kheer, with its uniquely rich and delicate texture, offered a subtle finale that rounded out the feast beautifully. But what elevates The Nukkad Cafe beyond even its phenomenal food is the people behind it. Meeting the family who runs the restaurant felt like being welcomed into someone’s home, warm smiles, genuine hospitality, and a passion for their craft that radiates from every plate. This is a family-owned restaurant that pours heart and soul into everything they serve, and it shows. The food was so extraordinary that I found myself tempted to eat with my hands for the first time, just to feel fully immersed in the cultural and culinary experience. For years, I’ve dreamed of traveling to India solely for the food. Now I realize I have a portal to authentic Indian cuisine right here at home. The Nukkad Cafe is not just worth the drive, it’s worth planning your week around. I’ll absolutely be returning, not just to relive these unforgettable dishes but to explore their American-Indian fusion creations as well. This is a place that doesn’t just feed you; it transports you.

Amazing service and amazing food! The atmosphere reminded me just like back home with the food flavor, serving size, and the hospitality! Food was hand cooked from scratch just like how we would get back home. They were so nice that they actually surprised us gave us an extra free paratha for us to try with all the food we ordered! The experience was amazing and I would totally recommend them to everyone! Please stop by and pay them a visit!

The Nukkad Cafe truly hit the spot! The food not only looked amazing—it tasted even better. I had the wrap with fries and a side of creamy mayo, and everything was cooked to perfection. The wrap was packed with juicy, flavorful meat and fresh veggies, and the fries were crispy and well-seasoned. Even the Sprite felt colder and more refreshing here! The vibe of the place was relaxed, and the food presentation made the whole experience feel special. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tasty, satisfying meal that delivers on both flavor and quality.

We have tried many Indian restaurants across south Florida but none have been worth a second visit. We finally found the one. Our family is from India and knows great quality food. We were so impressed with The Nukkad. Butter chicken was very tasty and more than enough for two. We also had the palak paneer and it was delicious. Highly recommend visiting, the owners/staff are very attentive and guarantee you will love your meal. Can’t wait to return.

The location is fantastic. My wife & I ordered the Seekh Kabab combo, which is served with fries. The food is outstanding and brings me back to my time working in the Middle East; it is very authentic. I have dined at several Middle Eastern restaurants here in the US, but this one stands out as one of the best. We will definitely return to try the other dishes. I highly recommend the Mango Lassi. Great customer service!

I tried the Chicken Korma, BBQ Grill Platter, Mango Lassi, Oreo Shake, and Ras Malai. Everything was really tasty! The Chicken Korma had rich flavor, the BBQ platter was nicely grilled, and in the desserts tried Ras malai. Mango lassi and oreo shake were refreshing and delicious. Friendly service and great overall experience. Definitely recommend!

I don’t usually do reviews but my sandwich was sooooo delicious, best philly sandwich I’ve had. AND HALAL!! I got it to-go, and they were pretty fast even though me and my friend ordered a lot together. They just opened 3 months ago. Spoke to the owner, very nice man and the family was very sweet as well. Great service. Will be visiting again!!
